Compact and lightweight, the Formula 725 successfully faces the most trying conditions of today's industrial use such as incidental falls, extreme environmental temperatures and intensive utilization. In fact, besides being remarkably well protected against dust, water jettings and electrostatic discharges, it can withstand falls from over a meter onto concrete and operate between -20 and +50°C, while the NiCd rechargeable batteries (which can easily be replaced by the user) assure autonomous operation for more than 18 hours of continuous use.

In addition to the excellent standard reading capability, Datalogic has developed the Formula 725 Long Range version that enables bar codes located in difficult-to-reach places, even up to 1.5 m away.

Memory is abundant with up to 2MB reserved for data, making the Formula 725 ideal for use in applications where large files must be managed. This Handheld Laser Terminal features a graphic LCD back-lit display with excellent readability and software controlled icons and it is also equipped with an alphanumeric 20-key keyboard for easy data and descriptions entry, making user interaction easy and productive.

The wireless version, Formula F725/RF, integrated in the Formula 433Mhz Communication System, performs radio connection at 433 MHz. Furthermore, for customized applications, the Formula 725 and the Formula 725/RF are fully programmable.
